GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) - The Ottawa Hills neighborhood in Grand Rapids celebrated alocally historic Fourth of July parade Saturday morning at the 75thAnnual Hollyhock Lane celebration.
The parade is the oldest continuous Independence Day paradein the state.
The parade always features wagon floats and decorated bikes.
The historic parade is named after the alley betweenGiddings and Calvin, known to locals as Hollyhock Lane.
A song to commemorate the 75th year of the event was writtenby Carol Johnson.
