GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A City of Grand Rapids swimming pool will be closed for a few days as crews repair a faulty heater.
The notice was posted on the City's Facebook page --
"Due to a faulty heater, the swimming pool at Martin Luther King Jr. Park will be closed immediately for a 3-4 day period for repairs, with an anticipated reopening on Thursday, August 8. Swim lessons scheduled for MLK pool on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, August 5-6-7 will be held at Briggs pool at the same time. The two other City pools, Richmond and Briggs, will be open for open-swim beginning at 12:30 pm each day."
