GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A gas line was hit early Monday afternoon at a condominium complex near the Woodland Mall.
An irrigation company hit the 5/8 inch service line to a residence near Mulford Drive and Ridgecroft Drive SE, just west of Woodland Mall.
Grand Rapids and Kentwood rescue crews arrived at the scene near the cities' border.
Firefighters cleared the scene just before 1 p.m.
Utility crews are working to cap the line.
There were no reports of injuries and it is unknown how many residences were evacuated.
