Open Cockpit Month at the Air Zoo in Portage
During the month of February, visitors will be able to experience aircrafts from a different point of view -- the cockpit. Kids can climb inside, pretend to be the pilot and more. This experience is included with the general admission price.
Pirates & Fairies Super Saturday at the Muskegon Museum of Art
Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This free family fun day includes crafts, guided tours and a showing of the movie "Hook."
Inaugural Snowman Festival at Mangiamo! in Grand Rapids
Feb. 9 starting at 10 a.m.
The event will feature a snowman-building competition with two categories -- one for adults and one for children. There will be three-topping, 10-inch pizzas for $6.50, and complimentary hot chocolate and hot cider. Awards will be given to the top-three snowmen.
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Grand Rapids Public Museum
Feb. 9 through July 7
"Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition" opens this weekend. This traveling exhibit features more than 150 legendary artifacts rescued from the famous ship's debris.
Fourth Annual Rockford Ice Festival in downtown Rockford
Feb. 9 and Feb. 10
This year's festival includes live ice carving demonstrations, a mini playable ice golf course, a scavenger hunt, a snowman-building contest and more.
