GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The Grand Rapids Police Department says it has arrested a man in connection to a Thursday convenience store robbery.
Officers were dispatched around 2:16 a.m. Thursday to the Circle K at 514 Michigan St. NE.
The male suspect implied to the clerk that he had a handgun, police told 24 Hour News 8. He was given some cash and then fled the store.
Police initially tried tracking the suspect, but were unsuccessful.
However, GRPD said Friday that Reid Cook Hanson had been arrested in connection to the robbery. He was lodged at the Kent County jail on $500,000 pending arraignment proceedings, which will likely take place next week.
