GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The body of a man in his 60s was found near the intersection of Garfield Street SW and Wealthy Street Thursday.
The body was discovered around 6:40 p.m. Monday by employees of a nearby radio station, who alerted police.
The man was identified as William James Tickner, 63.
An autopsy revealed no signs of trauma associated with the death, police said, though the exact cause of death has not yet been determined. Toxicology results are still pending.
However, the death does not appear to be suspicious.
Tucker appears to have been homeless. He may have simply fallen asleep and not woken up.
A few flurries occurred Thursday night. Lows held in the teens and the wind relaxed to the 5 to 10 mph range, with 20s at the Lake Michigan.
On Thursday, the medical examiner's office said CMU student Kelly Markatos died as a result of the eating disorder bulimia.
