GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) - It will be free to visit Grand Rapids' four major downtown museums on April 21.
The event is called Museums Free 4 All. Amway is sponsoring the day-long event that includes the Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM), the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, the Grand Rapids Public Museum and the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.
General admission will be free from noon to 5 p.m.
People can collect stamps or stickers at the different locations and fill up a "passport." That passport can be turned in for prizes at the Amway tent near Rosa Parks Circle at the GRAM's Wege Plaza. Family-friendly activities, including Zumba, will also be set up in that area.
Museums Free 4 All does not include admission to Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at the Grand Rapids Public Museum.
