HASTINGS, Mich. (WOOD) - Fire crews battled a house fire in Barry County Saturday morning.
The fire started just after 5:30 a.m. at a house located in the 3000 block of William F. Hayes Drive.
Barry County authorities told 24 Hour News 8 that a family was in the house at the time of the fire but everyone escaped safely.
Officials said the fire started on the roof and was possibly sparked by lightning.
