THORNAPPLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A 28-year-old man from Middleville died after crashing his car into a utility pole, then a tree, and then rolling the car over Saturday morning.
Thornapple Township emergency personnel and Barry County sheriff's deputies responded around 3 a.m. to the wreck near Cherry Valley and Finkbeiner Road.
The driver lost control of his 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse, which went off the west shoulder of the road, according to a news release.
The vehicle eventually came to rest in the road.
The driver was ejected from the car and later pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the driver is being withheld at this time.
