HASTINGS, Mich. (WOOD) - A convicted sex offender from Hastings faces three criminal sexual conduct charges.
Theodore Gerald Baker, 50, faces two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Baker was arrested following an investigation that began on Aug. 30, according to the Hastings Police Department.
The circumstances surrounding the charges are not yet known.
Baker is a registered sex offender with two previous convictions, the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry shows. In 1992, he was convicted of attempted third-degree CSC. In 2001, he was convicted of second-degree CSC with a person under the age of 13.
Baker is being held at the Barry County jail on $200,000 cash or surety bond.
