BALTIMORE (NBC/WBAL) - Anyone in Baltimore Thursday afternoon was able to witness a feast fit for a king -- and not to mention the elephants of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
The annual brunch with the elephants is a Baltimore favorite. The stars of the show stroll through Lexington's south parking lot.
If you're wondering what a brunch entails for an elephant, there are no eggs or bacon to be found. It's an all-vegetarian buffet.
Circus officials feed them apples, bananas, carrots and loaves of Italian bread. Families were met with tons of live music and other activities led by ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson.
By the way, Baltimore is the only city in the country to host this event annually.
