KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - One of the Kalamazoo Central students -- who was seated behindkeynote speaker President Barack Obama during Monday night'scommencement ceremony -- fell asleep.
The student, who earned such a prime seat by singing in thechoir, was captured on video due to his proximity to the president.He also was a hot topic on Twitter and the subject of severalrecently created Facebook pages.
Our video, above, shows the student yawning andfighting to stay alert. At one point, he leans back, only to jumpalert and join in during applause. The student then leans forwardand appears to nod off.
The video has become viral on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube,with numerous pages, tweets and comments appearing overnight.
