Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOOD) - With no limitations on the imagination, Cirque du Soleil allows you to experience a world of mystical tales through amazing acrobatics. Cirque du Soleil's performances span across the world, and next they're headed straight for Grand Rapids.
The magical performance will grace the stage at the Van Andel arena through the story of Quidam . It's a young girl's escape into imagination. Eighteen countries are represented in the production, with over 50 performers from around the globe. Artists will fly through the air, skip rope like you've never seen, and defy gravity with contortionist acts.
I was recently invited for an inside look with a personal showing of this miraculous act. I sat down to chat with a performer who brings traditional hop scotch to a whole new height. We spoke of life on the road, the beauty of Quidam, and her experience thus far in Grand Rapids. It's a show for all ages. Both young and the young at heart will revel in the brilliance and the magic of Quidam. If you're looking for a peak at what's to come, click on the video for an inside look.
