GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) - Jordan Carson hit some hot events for the Social Sizzle, and all for a good cause! 400 people came out to Up on the Roof held on the Rooftop Garden of Mercy Health Lacks Cancer Center. The night was buzzing with great food, live music, and signature cocktails. More than $50, 000 was raised, proceeds will benefit music therapy, an important program offered to patients and their families. Music aids patients with recovery, stress, and relaxation. This event benefited many Mercy Health St. Mary's centers including: The Parkinson's Center, Personal Care Area, Lack's Cancer Center, and the Kidney Transplant Area.
The Social Charity Club and Ladies Night Out collaborated for a fun night at Celebration Cinema North. It was a great way to give back while getting together, and proceeds went to benefit Senior Neighbors, an organization that helps senior citizens in Kent County remain independent in their homes.
