GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - She plays the piano and he plays the trombone and together they make beautiful jazz music. Husband and wife duo, Robin Connell and Paul Brewer, will be showcasing their talents at two Grand Rapids venues this weekend, but first stopped by eightWest to give viewers a taste of their award-winning sound.
Robin teaches Jazz Piano and Jazz Voice at Grand Rapids Community College and Aquinas College and her husband, Paul, is the Director of Music at Aquinas College. Both artists taught at Interlochen Arts Camp for twenty years and have trained talented musicians including Nora Jones.
