GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) - Parkinson's Disease has been affecting people for thousands of years. In the last couple of decades, significant progress is being made in Parkinson's research, and some of that's happening at the Van Andel Institute in Grand Rapids. "Grand Challenges in Parkinson's Disease" is on September 18 and 19 at Van Andel Institute. It's open to people living with Parkinson's, caregivers, researchers, medical professionals, anyone affected by, or interested in the disease. There will be a series of speakers and information about Parkinson's Disease.
