GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) - MapleCreek Senior Living in Grand Rapids is working on a huge charity project to give school supplies to foster kids all over West Michigan. Their goal is to fill backpacks with supplies for 70 kids. To do this, they need your help. MapleCreek is looking for donations of school supplies such as pens, pencils, markers, crayons, scissors, calculators, notebooks, folders, binders, rulers, erasers, and backpacks. Gift cards to local stores that carry school supplies such as Meijer, Target, or Staples are also appreciated.
Donations can be brought to the reception desk at any of the buildings on the MapleCreek campus or to the Foster Care office by August 9. Be part of this effort to improve the lives of foster children and join in the giving spirit of MapleCreek.
