GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - This week, movie guy Aaron Lafferty has a number one pick for the movie you should check out in theaters, as well as a film to consider renting if you'd rather watch something at home. In theaters now is "Silver Linings Playbook", starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. Aaron chooses this as one of his favorites of 2012. The movie is about two people both struggling with some issues who meet and become a sort of odd couple of kindred spirits. Robert De Niro also stars in the film that is up for a few Golden Globes. If you'd rather stay at home this weekend and rent a movie, "Looper" is out on DVD for those interested in science fiction and time travel. The movie is rated R and stars Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Check out Aaron's blog and Twitter for reviews on his other mentioned films such as "The Impossible" with Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor, "Promised Land", starring Matt Damon and John Krasinski, "Hyde Park on the Hudson" with Bill Murray as FDR, and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D" for all the slasher movie lovers.
