GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Marcy Yanus from Grand Rapids Sister Cities International along with private Japanese chef Sawako Kline and master chef Akihiro Kotani of Japan join Terri and Rachael for a terrifc taste of an excite event just ahead. It's called Konbanwa GR , a collaborative entertaining evenng presented by Grand Rapids Sister Cities International's Omihachiman committee. Omihachiman is GR's Japanese Sister City, one of several international partnerships developed through the Sister Cities program. This week's special guest Chef Kotani is a master chef from Hotel New Omi in Omihachiman, Japan. Chef Kotani will be sharing his culture and cuisine by preparing a 4-course meal at Cygnus 27 at the top of the Amway Grand Plaza using both traditional and modern Japanese cooking styles.
