GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Are you ready for music, food and fun to support a good cause? Set your calendars for February 9, 2013 when the 5th annual P.O.R.T. Winter Night-Out Benefit will be revving up at Bridgewater Place in Grand Rapids. The Pediatric Oncology Resource Team, known as P.O.R.T., is a program at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital that provides and promotes compassionate, personalized support to families with children diagnosed with cancer or a life threatening blood disorder. This life changing program is funded by grants and donations, so your help is integral to touching lives through P.O.R.T.
This special night is an easy way to support your community while having a blast with friends and fun. This Benefit includes hearty appetizers, delectable desserts and a cash bar with musical entertainment by "Three's a Crowd." Get your bidding buzz ready for "Bid from Your Heart," a silent and live auction hosted by Tony Gates. So come on out and join us in celebrating the lives of our young and supporting this cause!
