PORTLAND (NBC/KGW) - A 56-year-old mermaid is creating quite a splash at a Portland, Ore., public pool.

Pauline Long, or "Myst" as she calls herself in the water, created her own mermaid costume.

Long said it's something she's wanted to do since meeting another "mermaid" a few years back.
