VANCLEAVE, Miss. (AP) - Police say a body found in rural Mississippi is believed to be that of a missing 3-year-old Alabama boy.

Chase DeBlase was last seen in March. His father, John DeBlase, 27, of Mobile, has admitted to getting rid of the bodies of his son and 5-year-old daughter Natalie. But he claims they were killed by their stepmother, Heather Leavell-Keaton.

The girl's body remains missing. DeBlase told authorities he dumped her in Alabama.

Leavell-Keaton is jailed in Kentucky on child abuse charges awaiting return to Mobile. DeBlase is charged with child abuse and corpse abuse.
