Used 2,862 wine corks to create the masterpiece

BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (NBC/KGW) - A Washington State man found a "corky" way to show his wife how much he loves her this Valentine's Day.

He created a mosaic of her using 2,862 wine corks. It's an ode to his wife, Trisha, that took 36 hours to create.

The side-by-side corks are organized by shade to create definition of facial features and the illusion of depth.

You have to step back to really see Trisha's face take shape.

By the way, they didn't drink all 2,800 bottles of wine.

Nathan went and borrowed corks from their neighbors part way through the project.
