COPENHAGEN, Denmark (NBC/EBU) - The biggest aquarium in northern Europe opens Thursday.
It's called the Blue Planet and is home to 20,000 fish and marine animals in almost 2 million gallons of water.
Visitors are able to be surrounded by water and have the sense of looking at the fish from below sea level.
The CEO of the Blue Planet said she wants visitors to feel like they're a thousand leagues under the sea.
The aquarium expects 700,000 visitors this year.
