GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - In the Your Money, Your Questions segment on 24 Hour News 8 at 5, Sharon Moffett-Massey of the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency answered your questions and concerns.

Among the questions she answered:

"I heard rumors that there will be another 13-week extension because Michigan has such high unemployment. Is it true if you're in school for job training, you will get another 26 weeks of unemployment? I'm about to run out and would like to get these questions answered." - Doug

"My employer has just informed me that he is making me a part-time employee, to include no longer any benefits, etc ... I have been with this company a very substantial amount of years. Can I open a claim to receive benefits even though I am still working three days a week? This has put a big hole in my finances." - Carol

Moffett-Massey, the director of Grand Rapids Remote Initial Claims Center, will make sure you get a response, either live on air or with a follow up phone call from the agency.
