HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - Crown Motors is one of more than 600 General Motors dealerships whose franchise has been restored.

GM made the announcement March 5.

Crown will receive a letter of intent from the automaker that will allow it to continue representing GM brands in the West Michigan market.

"We are grateful General Motors has chosen this logical path and hope Chrysler will follow suit," Craig Wierda said in a statement. "We are also hopeful more GM dealers will be restored through the arbitration process mandated by Congress."

Another local dealer to get its franchise back is Freedom Chevrolet in Fremont.
