When severe weather is approaching, you can be the first to know! As soon as the National Weather Service issues a warning, watch or advisory, you'll get an email courtesy of Storm Team 8.

As of December 2, 2009, Weather Warn alerts are delivered only to traditional email accounts. If you previously signed up for Weather Warn using a cell phone number or address, your account is now handled by our SMS Text Alerts.

To get an SMS Text Alert in cases of severe weather, go to our SMS Text Alerts.

If you want to stop getting weather alerts on your cell phone, you can reply to an alert with just STOP in the message and we will deactivate that alert.
