COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WOOD) - The West Michigan Whitecaps will have a new manager next season.

The Tigers decided not to renew the contract of Ernie Young for the coming season.

He manned the Whitecaps bench for two seasons and finished with a winning record -- 142-137 overall.

But the Whitecaps failed to make the playoffs in both seasons.
