COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WOOD) - The grounds crew at the home of the West Michigan Whitecaps didn't cut the grass Monday morning in preparation for a game later in the evening.
Instead they were shoveling several inches of snow off the field's tarp.
A spring snowstorm blew in overnight and dumped the wintry precipitation across the area.
The Whitecaps play the Fort Wayne Tin Caps at 6:35 p.m.
