COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WOOD) - The traditional box of chocolates for Valentine's Day may be replaced with a treat that is slightly bigger - and more fattening.
The West Michigan Whitecaps have created a heart-shaped Fifth Third burger.
Tipping the scales at four pounds, the burger consists of five one-third beef patties, nacho cheese, chili, salsa, crunched tortilla chips, tomato and lettuce. All of those ingredients bring the total number of calories to a whopping 4,889 with 299.5 grams of fat.
The heart shaped burger costs $30, but for a more elaborate delivery, customers can have Crash the River Rascal deliver the meal right to your loved one for $100.
Whitecaps president Scott Lane says it is the perfect gift for baseball fans who cannot seem to find the perfect gift.
Buyers are asked to pre-order the burgers and the deadline to place orders is Feb. 10 at 5 p.m.
Baseball fans who would rather eat healthy of Valentine's Day can purchase a ticket package instead.
