GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Grand Rapids and the West Michigan Sports Commission were selected Friday to host the 2010 U.S. Table Tennis Open, scheduled for June 30 to July 3.
The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel will serve as tournament headquarters for this event and the finals will be held at DeVos Place.
Participants range in age from 8 to 80 in this annual event. There are nearly 60 event divisions and about 600 athletes are expected.
Event registration and tournament information will be available in February and posted on the USA Table Tennis Web site. The entry deadline will be in May.
