Table tennis Olympians compete in GR

USA Table Tennis US Open begins Saturday

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Timothy Wang, Ariel Hsing, Erica Wu and Lily Zhang may not yet be household names, but all are US Olympians and all will compete in the 2012 USA Table Tennis US Open in Grand Rapids.

The five-day event begins Saturday and runs through July 4 at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.

This is the largest table tennis tournament in the country , and athletes from around the world will be competing for $100,000 in prize money.
