FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Connor Lammert scored 13 points, including the go-ahead basket, last night as Texas beat TCU 68-59. Ioannis Papapetrou added 15 points for the Longhorns, who earned their first road win of the season. Garlon Green led the Horned Frogs with 15 points.

NEW YORK (AP) — Calgary Flames defenseman Mark Giordano has been fined $10,000 by the NHL for slew-footing Dallas Stars forward Antoine Roussel. The incident took place midway through the second period of Sunday's game. The fine is the maximum allowed under the collective bargaining agreement.

FRISCO, Texas (AP) — FC Dallas has acquired midfielder Je-Vaughn Watson in a trade with the Houston Dynamo. The Dynamo will get a second-round pick in the 2015 MLS draft as part of the deal. FC Dallas also signed Brazilian player Michel.
