AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Pistons' skid has reached three games. Al Horford's 23 points and 22 rebounds led the Atlanta Hawks past the Pistons 114-103 last night. The Pistons were without Brandon Knight again because of a hyperextended right knee. Rodney Stuckey led Detroit with 22 points.

DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Red Wings have signed defenseman Brian Lashoff to a three-year contract worth almost $2.2 million. Lashoff has a goal and two assists in 15 games this season, his first in the NHL. The undrafted free agent played in 36 games during the NHL lockout with the Grand Rapids Griffins after playing all of last season with the Red Wings' AHL affiliate.
CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) — Miguel Cabrera homered again yesterday for the Detroit Tigers in a 10-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. He launched a booming, three-run homer off Jonathan Papelbon in a six-run fifth inning. It was his second home run this spring.
