GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - West Michigan native Mike Knuble's career with the Grand Rapids Griffins is one and done.
Knuble will be returning to the Philadelphia Flyers. He told 24 Hour News 8 he'll be leaving Friday to join the team.
Knuble scored 114 goals in his previous four seasons with the Flyers from 2005 to 2009.
Earlier this week, Knuble signed a 25-game professional tryout contract with the Griffins. He made his debut Wednesday evening and had an assist in the Griffins' win over Oklahoma City.
