TAMPA BAY, Fla. (WOOD) - A new PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) ad is just too racy for the Super Bowl.

That's the ruling from NBC, which banned this pro-vegetarian ad.

NBC says the models are getting too comfortable with the veggies.

Among the complaints: the model licking the eggplant.

NBC says it told the animal rights group it would have to edit out some parts for it to air, but the group refused.
