The Detroit Lions are honoring the franchise's greatest players with a permanent display at Ford Field.
The 12 charter members of Pride of the Lions will be recognized Nov. 22 during a ceremony at halftime of Detroit's game against the Cleveland Browns. Each is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The display will be featured on the stadium's south side formerly occupied by the Hudson's department store warehouse. It will include the players' names, jersey numbers and years played with the Lions.
Club President Tom Lewand says the names of other Detroit greats will be added to the Pride of the Lions exhibit in the future.
