KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - Western Michigan University's football team is getting new alternative uniforms.
The uniforms, which will be worn Saturday in the game against Toledo, are tech fit from Adidas, according to a release from the WMU Athletic Department. The helmets have the Bronco logo used from 1998 to 2010 against a metal pattern background.

Replica helmets will be handed out at the game to the first 5,000 students through the gates,l according to the release. Anyone who gets a helmet is asked to wear it as a sign of team unity.
