MSU team has Michigan flavor

DETROIT (WOOD) - Michigan State is the 10th school to be playing in the Final Four in its home state.

This year's team has a true state of Michigan base, as nine of the 16 players on the roster call Michigan home.

Head coach Tom Izzo was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula. His three assistant coaches were as well, and played basketball at institutions in the state -- two at MSU.
