AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) - The Detroit Pistons plan to show off their moves at an open practice.
The team announced Tuesday that fans can attend practice at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Oct. 10 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.
Pistons President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars says the open practice is a "great way" to get fans excited about the upcoming 2009-2010 season.
Pistons coaches will speak to the crowd and the Automotion dance team and others will perform.
The Pistons open the regular season Oct. 28 in Memphis and open at home Oct. 30 against Oklahoma City.
