KALAMAZOO, Mich (WOOD) - Derek Jeter returned back to his hometown of Kalamazoo in order to give back to area kids.
Over 300 kids involved in his Turn 2 Foundation came to the holiday party he put on. The kids were given gift bags, along with private screenings to the new "Alvin and the Chipmunks" movie. They also received a surprise visit from Santa Claus.
Jeter's Turn 2 Foundation has raised more than $16 million, which supports programs that motivate young people to stay away from drugs and alcohol.
