HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - Buy me some peanuts and...ice cream!?
The Detroit Tigers brought one of their winter caravans to West Michigan so some players and coaches could tour a famous company known for its tasty treat.
More than a dozen players and coaches got a look behind the scenes at Hudsonville Creamery & Ice Cream Company Friday morning.
Those in attendance included Tom Brookens, Jeff Jones, Mike Rojas, Alex Avila, Brandon Inge, Don Kelly, Rick Porcello, Duane Below, Casey Crosby, Delmon Young, Adam Wilk, Jacob Turner, Ryan Raburn, Clete Thomas and Daniel Schlereth.
When the Tigers' season begins April 5, Hudsonville Ice Cream will be available at Comerica Park for all home games.
Creamery officials also said the company will scoop ice cream at the Detroit Tigers Foundation events and fundraisers.
