GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A handful of unbeatens were out in action Friday night as high school hoops took over gyms across the state.

NotherPointe Christian was outscored 20-8 in the first quarter and couldn't get out of that whole against the undefeated Squires of Calvin Christian. NorthPointe outscored Calvin Christian in the second half but lost 58-52.

Godwin Heights cruised to their tenth win of the year and are still perfect, 10-0, after a 71-42 win over Wyoming rival, Lee. The Wolverines, the second ranked team in Class "B", have put themselves on a collision course in the OK Silver with Calvin Christian. The two undefeated teams will meet Friday at Calvin Christian, a 6:00p.m. start.

East Kentwood held off West Ottawa in a close 60-55 win. The Falcons used a 21 point fourth quarter to fend off the Panthers. East Kentwood will put their 10-0 mark on the line Tuesday at Byron Center.

The other undefeated, the South Christian Lady Sailors were handed their first loss of the year at the hands of Wayland Union. Allison Getty led the way for Wayland with 15 of the teams 47 points in their 17 point win, 47-30.

And Grand River Prep continues to soar, led by Mariah McCully's 43 points. The freshman guard, who's averaging just over 37 points a game, led the Titans to a 63-20 win over Wellspring Preparatory.
