Four area teams headed to the Breslin

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - It's an entire season in the making. Game after game, teams work towards one goal, a chance to play at the Breslin Center for a state championship. Monday night four area teams got one step closer to achieving that dream.
The state quarterfinals whittle down the group, but West Michigan will be represented at the Breslin Center Thursday and Friday for the state semi-finals:
Class A:
- Grand Haven beat Grand Ledge 43-35, their third straight trip to East Lansing
Class B:
- South Christian is headed to the Spartan's home court after a 53-29 thumping of Marshall
Class D:
- Climax-Scotts outlasted Gaylord St. Mary's 42-40 for a chance at a State title
- Athens too will be at the Breslin after a 54-48 win over Plymouth Christian
Shelby and Delton Kellogg's great seasons came to an end with losses in the quarterfinals.
