GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) - Regional finals were held across West Michigan on Wednesday for boys basketball teams.

A play during one of the games has everyone talking the next day.

Rockford and Grand Haven met at Grandville High School. Late in the third quarter, Grand Haven's Nate VanArendonk received a pass down low and dunked the ball, shattering the backboard in the process.

The game was delayed as the court was cleaned up and officials decided what to do next. There was a backup backboard in the school, but officials said it would take too long to set up.

So the game was moved to Jenison High School and resumed. Grand Haven went on to win 39-36.
