GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - New Griffins head coach Jeff Blashill stopped by Sports Overtime on Sunday.
Blashill, who has West Michigan ties, was an assistant coach with the Detroit Red Wings last season. Before that, he was the head coach at Western Michigan University, with other coaching stops at both Miami of Ohio and Ferris State (where he also played in the mid-1990s).
Blashill talked with 24 Hour News 8's Casey Jones about everything from being back in West Michigan to the NHL lockout.
