GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - With the high school football season set to kick off on Thursday, one of the West Michigan Teams that plans to make some noise is Grand Rapids Christian.
The Eagles lost quite a few key players on defense, but is hoping its offense -- one of the most explosive in the state -- can compensate for the difference.
Michigan State-bound receiver Drake Harris, strong-armed quarterback Alex Vandevusse and a stout offensive line should enable the team to put points on the board.
The Eagles have a tough schedule and will be highly-ranked in all of the state polls.
Their first game is against South Christian on Friday.
