GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A Byron Center man, already accused by the US government of swindling hundreds of West Michigan residents out of millions of dollars, is now facing a lawsuit from some of his investors.
Seven people have filed suit against David McQueen and two other
men in Fort Wayne, Indiana, alleging they were defrauded in one of
McQueen's investment schemes, according to the
Fort Wayne
Journal Gazette.
Target 8 Investigators revealed in October that McQueen had become the target of federal allegations.
Meanwhile, the FBI investigation continues. It has sent out a
questionaire to investors apparently trying to gather more
information about McQueen's various investment opportunities.
Investors say the federal government has frozen McQueen's
bank accounts.
