PHOENIX (CNN) - An Arizona woman says a Valentine's Day toy mystifies her.
"I went to Walgreens…and they had a box full of cute little animals, and I thought it would make a cute little dollhouse animal for my granddaughters," said Sandra Fijal.
The little puppy has a recorded message of love spoken every time you squeeze it.
"And when I picked it up it said, 'I love you, woof woof,'" said Fijal.
But overnight, it suddenly changed its tune.
"Got it home and in the middle of the night I played with it and it said, 'I need scratching,' and I said scratch it yourself. And then I pushed him again and it says, 'I hate you,'" said Fijal.
Fijal says her granddaughters certainly aren't getting the toy now.
Sound & Light Animatronics out of Hong Kong manufactures the dog.
Walgreens corporate officials say this is the first complaint they have received about this product.
