GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD0 - Gov. Rick Snyder was in Kalamazoo for an afternoon meeting before traveling to Grand Rapids for a speech at the Grand Rapids Art Museum.

The governor met with people at the Radisson Hotel in Kalamazoo around 2 p.m.

While at the Radisson, the governor weighed in on a decision by the Michigan Supreme Court Wednesday that put several issues on the Nov. 6 ballot.

Snyder said he's not fond of ballot issues and that he thinks it's the purpose of the legislature and himself to make good law.

But, he said, it's in the hands of voters now.
